There are many types of insect and arthropod associated Faeries; Sprites (dragonflies and damselflies), Pixies (bees and wasps), Nymphs and Sylphs (butterflies and moths), Grigs (grasshoppers, crickets, and katydids), Atomies (fireflies), Midges (mosquitoes), Myrmidons (ants), Polypedes (centipedes and millipedes), Arachnae (spiders and scorpions),  Shellbacks (beetles), ShooFlies, etc. For each species of arthropod, there are both sentient faerie and nonmagical nonintelligent varieties. Most insectoid little people can project an illusion causing them to appear as a Mundane Creature.
