Worldstree is an unusally Myth in there are VERY few nonsentients. Even many of the plants are thinking beings, as are almost all the creatures. The Races can be divided in several ways, based on thier heritage, on thier position in the War, or by thier Mythic status.

The Faeries are one of the most basic groups. There are many types of Faeries, and they may belong to any Alliance, but all are deeply affected by the High Metals. The most common of the Faeries Races are the Elves. There is also a class of small beings known as the Little People, as well as the Satyr and Dryad dual race and the Centaurs/Pegasus/Unicorn Triad.

Next comes the Celenes, a groups of shapechangers greatly concerned with Astrology. There are many Tribes of Celenes, and they can be found throughout the Lands.

Worldstree also has its share of Monsters, surely lead by the Great Dragons. There are other Monsters, some uniques and some with whole populations. Notable are the Goblyn slaves of the WindLord, who were once Elves. Technically, Travellers from other Myths are Monsters, but they are never-the-less treated politely.
