Astrology is the ancient science of the Celenes. It has two major applications:  Divination and Menhir Alignment. Worldstree Astrology is complicated by the erratic nature of the Night Sky. Thus Astrology involves little math; rather a complicated system of notation is used to record the features of each night's sky.

By means of creating StoneCircles and aligning Menhirs with the NightSky, Astrologers open MoonGates. At first, these used only the Moons and the Sun and permitted instantaneous travel only between Circles, the Gates opening at certains times of the Year. Advancements in Magic have allowed for the creation of NightGates, which use the power of the Lanterns and Wanderers to open Gates of other Myths.
