Amphibious Faeries represent four sub-groups of Amphibians, toads (Redcaps), salamanders (Efts and Newts), frogs (Nixies), and tree frogs (Peepers). They begin life as overlarge Pollywogs. Tadpoles are relatively mindless creatures, taking from 50 to 100 years to mature. Unlike Insectoid Faeries, the adult creature will continue to grow after their metamorphosis. Most of these Faeries wear clothing,  at least when on land.

All Amphibious Faeries must make their way to a pond each Morning in order to mate. Though they prefer the pond that they were born in, the Nixies' Songs will lure them to the closest body of water. Once there, they will mate with any Faerie they find. Females produce five to ten three inch eggs, which the male fertilizes externally. The eggs hatch within one month, producing baby Pollywogs. What Race the Tadpole metamorphizes into seems random.

There is a rumored lost race of amphibious fairy that lived totally Underground. They were supposedly eyeless albino creatures that dig through the earth and eat worms and burrowing Mammals. Its reproductive habits and society are unknown.
