Peepers are the smallest Amphibious Faeries, around five or six inches. They are small and delicate with long thin limbs and wide eyes. Like treefrogs, their fingers and toes are equiped with suction pads. Peepers have prehensile toes and a great skill at acrobatics that allows them to live completely arboreally. All Peepers are female. They live in communities of up to twenty individuals near bodies of water. Peeper move from colony to colony at will, and populations of them may apprear quickly and soon disappear. Like Nixies, peepers sing at night. Peepers sing in a chorus, as opposed to the cacophany of Nixies. Peepers are VERY shy and can rarely be approached (or seen).They are, however, creatures of Good Will and have been known to help others in need. Although they are usually light green (or sometimes sky blue or blue-green), the can at will adopt "protective" coloration, always neon bright, which includes vastly lethal skin secretions. Peepers hate and destroy Midges whenever possible.
