The DarkWoods are an area south of Celenest and the LandSpine Mountains composed mostly of ancient taiga. That is to say there are enormous spruces, sequoias firs and pines It is so called due to the lack of light at ground level. Due to the path of the Sun, most of DarkWoods trees are warped somewhat, with thicker growth towards the North, almost if in yearning. Two Rivers flow through the Region, the BlackWater and the IceRoad. There is a city where two tributaries merge into the BlackWater, called Fogtowers by the few who know of its existance. It is a dark city, inhabited mostly by Unseelie Races.

There are many glacial lakes and peat bogs, but elsewhere the tree grow thickly.  It is Home to many WereWolves and Korrupts, who put on the main HuntsMan show, but there are also peaceful villages of Weres and LittlePeople, unconnected with the bustle of Worldstree.
