Shrew LittlePeople are commonly called Quicklings due to their almost unbelievable speed. They are also predaceous and unsatiable killers that eat anything they can catch. Quicklings rarely sleep, and then only for minutes, spending the rest of their lives seeking food. In addition to their sharp claws, they also have wickedly sharp teeth and a poisonous bite. They can be any dark color, and have exceptionally beady eyes. Quickling cannot be still. Their metabolism is such that they run on full blast all the time, and must eat over twice their bodyweight every day . Quicklings occasional form family packs, but are most often solitary. They consider other Faeries fair game, and especially love to persue Diggers by raiding their tunnels. Unlike Diggers, quicklings are very intelligent and cunning. As with other Mammalian Little People, they are in fact Celenes who have defected to the Faerie Court, and have since become Unseelie.
