Eaglemoon is the King of the Lung Dragons and patron of the Elathe.  His real name is EmperorHsi Lung. He has a scaly reptilian body, with moon/pearl scales and a long tail, but has only two eagle-like legs, eagle wings and an eagle head - though the eagle head has white scales instead of feathers. Like all Lung Dragons,  whiskers around the bottom of his beak and a chi'ih muh on his forehead.  When the Worldstree was young, he took the DragonPearl from his chin and split it into four parts, two of which he shaped into pearls and two into opals. He then breathed on them and cast them down from the sky. Due to their divine origin, they hatched directly into the four types of Ying Lung. To this day, all Lung Dragons are expected to sacrifice pearls and opals to His Majesty. His breath turns all living beings into jade statues and all pearls and opals into Kioh-Lung eggs. He is the greatest controller of Weather on Worldstree, and he is closely watched.  He is also the creator of Gryphons, which he gave to the Elathe to show his respect.
