Weasels, Minks, Ermines and Martens all share a common body shape a basic set of personality traits. They are long bodied, quick and agile, both in body and mind.  Only Martens are profiecient climbers. but all try and all are comfortable in the water and with fish. All also have a distinctive smell.

Weasels

Weasels are primarily cilivized, living as chicken farmers in Celenest. They are quick-tempered and nasty outside their clan, but highly playful as kittens. The are often less than two and a half feet tall and lean bodied at that.

Minks

Minks are fishers and river lovers. They are especially fond of Evening, when they change to a coat of glorious white and can be found participating in all the Snow Games. Minks are larger than weasels, often three feet. The are noted as viscious fighters that scream, spit, hiss and having needle sharp teeth. They are less civilized than Weasels, preferring the DarkWoods over Celenest.

Ermines

Ermines are tiny members of the Weasel clan that live on the Ice Marches and other such areas. They stand two feet tall and are very svelt, especially in their winter whites. Though less hot tempered than there temperate cousins (in fact, Ermines welcome other Celenes into their deepdug Dens), they vicsious killers when it comes to snow hares and pikas.

Martens

Martens are large arboreal Weasels found in the Darkwoods only. Mostly they eat birds and squirrels, and are little harm to anyone. They are solitary and quarrelsome, associating only with their own kind in , MidDay for mating (though young are born the following Morning). They often now well the Wolves and Owls of their area, and keep eyes on the Korrupts, but take no part in the Hunt.
