An anfanc is a giant toothed worm that lives in  lakes. A fully grown one is 20 yards long and two yards in diameter, and of very frightening appearance. It does not appear to have any eyes, but it sees quite well. It rears out of the water quite suddenly and can attack in the same turn that it sufaces. An anfanc will attack anyBeing that approaches its area. The teeth are sharp, and there are lots of them. A single bite is almost invariable fatal due to blood loss. They are believed to be degenerate Dragons.
