Lesser Alchemy:

Potions of common use and little power, concocted of herbs and earths.

Lesser Alchemy is a M/H skill that enables the brewing of any of the above potions and finding the necessary ingredients. Lesser Alchemy is region specific. To function in a nonnative area, Naturalist (area) is required. Practitioners are often called Wisdoms, Witches, Hedge Wizards, etc.

The Potions and what they do:

Strengthening:  Restores 1d3 lost ST or 1d lost Fatigue
Healing:  Restores 1d3 lost HT or 1d Hits
Analgesic:  Restores 1d Hits TEMPORARILY, lasts 1d hours then damage return. Subject is at -1 IQ and -1 DX for duration.
WoundBinding:  Stops bleeding, closes the wound and prevents infection. Restores half the damage caused by that wound.
Love:  taken by dosers and subject - subject makes a fresh reaction roll toward doser at +4
Calming:  Gives the unfazeable advantage along with resistance to fear, -2 to IQ for 1d hours
Beauty:  imbider get one extra level of appearance for 1d hours
Disease: type A:  fresh HT check at -2 for any disease, type B:  specific to a known disease HT check at +2
    NB:  using type B requires a successful Diagnosis.
Drunkeness:  Subject is drunk for 1d hours
Passion:  same as love, but subject sees doser as having Sex Appeal

The healing potion commonly in Silverymoon, as recorded by Yuganstan in Herbal Cures of the Clan-Folk of Gibbous River:

Extract the Eggs from the Belly of a Gravid Sturgeon.  Collect and let Dry in Moonless Night the Flowers of Twelve White Lotuses.  10 drammes of the Leaves of HealAll (Collected, as always, from the Garden of the Year of a healthy Otter of considerage Yearage) will be Needed.  Boil in rainwater, mix half with blackberry wine and seal airtight while still hot. Bottle should be earthenware pottery with a wax seal.
