Microsoft Troubleshooting Wizard: Reboot

Rebooting solves 99.999% of the problems in Windows computers. In fact, you should reboot every time you change applications or connect to the internet.

Repair Procedure

1. Reboot your computer by doing one or more of the following:
   • Press the button(s) on the front of the machine
   • Toggle the switches on the back of the machine
   • Unplug the machine, go have a drink, then plug it in again
2. Windows should restart, with a picture you should find familiar. It may talk about scanning disks, which means you should play a good CD while you wait.
3. Check to see if the problem is fixed.
